I am a University Professor, Psychologist, Coach, and Applied Researcher recognised for advancing evidence-based approaches to workplace wellbeing and organisational sustainability. I have led and contributed to high-impact research, evaluation, and consultancy for funders, policymakers, and organisations seeking practical solutions to system challenges.
My work is trusted because it combines academic rigour with deep real-world insight, translating evidence into action that delivers measurable value. Clients choose to work with me for my ability to convene diverse stakeholders, clarify complexity, and co-design individual, team, and business strategies that are both credible and workable. I bring independence, integrity, and a sharp focus on outcomes, helping organisations make decisions they can stand behind. I also bring joy and happiness to my work, leading with kindness.

My person-centred executive coaching style is grounded in empathy, reflective dialogue, and a strong focus on individual values, identity, and context. I support clients to think critically about their roles and challenges, building insight, confidence, and sustainable change, while tackling burnout. I undertake executive, career and work, and academic coaching and mentoring. I charge £100 per hour and typically meet my clients online.

I am Professor of Organisational Psychology whose scholarship focuses on examining how work, management practices, and organisational contexts shape owner and employee wellbeing. My academic and commissioned research integrates applied health services research, organisational psychology, and policy-oriented inquiry to generate practical insights that support healthier work and more resilient businesses. I also deliver invited talks on these topics to a range of organisations.

I provide expert national and international media commentary on workplace wellbeing, small business health, and the impact of management and policy on working lives. I contribute through interviews, opinion pieces, and evidence-based analysis, translating academic research into clear, accessible insights for public, professional, and policy audiences.

I provide independent, theory-informed and participatory evaluation of programmes, services, and policies focused on workplace wellbeing, and/or health system change, using qualitative or mixed -methods. My evaluation services are designed to generate actionable learning for funders, policymakers, and practitioners in the public, charity, and commercial sectors. I also advise on bids and evaluation design and delivery, as well as helping to write evaluation reports.

I use a facilitative approach that is inclusive, reflective, and evidence-informed, creating psychologically safe spaces where diverse stakeholders can think clearly, challenge assumptions, and work productively together. My facilitation blends structured methods with adaptability, enabling groups to move from complexity to shared understanding of aims and values, and practical action. I deliver engaging workshops and events.

I provide consultancy services that support organisations to design, implement, and improve strategies for workplace wellbeing, leadership, and organisational sustainability, with particular expertise in public sector, charity, and small and medium-sized enterprises, along with health and social-care related contexts. Through my consultancy work, I combine academic evidence, practical insight, and co-design to deliver solutions that are both rigorous and workable in real-world settings. I am also commissioned to design academic and corporate courses and education.
