ABOUT ME

---

I am presently Professor in Organisational Psychology and Director of Psychology and Research at Regent's University London. 

My career highlights include:

• Establishing and directing businesses for over 20 years, with eight of those spent leading ResPeo - a social research, evaluation, and facilitation agency
• Holding the title of Visiting Professor in Organisational Psychology at the City Institute in Higher Learning in Canada and Visiting Research Fellow at the Community and Health Research Unit at the University of Lincoln. I am also a Senior Visiting Research Fellow at the School of Population Health Sciences at King's College London
• My prize-winning PhD in Health Services Research is from the Faculty of Life Sciences and Medicine at King's College London, where I spent 10 deeply happy and formative years, including as Quality Improvement Research Fellow and Master's in Public Health Programme Lead.

• I am a Chartered Psychologist through research and teaching
• I was formerly the Director of the Centre for Interprofessional Education and Learning and Associate Professor in Organisational Behaviour at the University of Nottingham Faculty of Medicine and Life Sciences
• I was previously Head of Learning, Research and Evaluation at The Social Innovation Partnership, where our mission was to improve people’s quality of life and make society fairer
• I co-develop the mental health outcome measure PSYCHLOPS, which has been used by the World Health Organisation and Médecins Sans Frontières 
• I have had a 20 year career in the health and social care sector, holding several interim senior leadership positions, executive, and advisory roles in a range of NHS and criminal justice settings
• I have  been a School Governor for 10 years, three of those as Chair
• I am Trustee of the University Mental Health Advisers Network
• I have led over 75 evaluations of programmes and services predominantly in the health and social care sector providing clients with implementable recommendations for improvement
• I was awarded the Fellowship of the Royal Society for Arts, Commerce and Manufactures in recognition of my work in the field of organisational resilience as Founding Director of the Centre for Organisational Resilience at Lincoln International Business School.

• My most  precious role is being a mother to three children (with 9 years of parenthood spent solo) and stepmother to two.
